On Sep 1, BC PNP held its first draw of the month in which it issued 428 Invitations to Apply (ITA). Also, to qualify the applicants needed the following CRS score:
Skills Immigration (S.I)
Skilled Worker – 94
International Graduate – 98
Entry Level and Skilled Level – 76
Express Entry BC (EEBC)
Skilled Worker – 94
International Graduate – 98
Besides, in comparison to the last draw on Aug 18 BC PNP draw the CRS score requirement is down by 2 points in S.I Skilled Worker category. Whereas for the EEBC Skilled Worker category the CRS score is up by 2 points.
Further in Aug BC PNP selected the following number of applicants to apply for a Canada PR:
If you too received an ITA in this draw under the EEBC category, then it means:
If you get a nomination against your EE profile, then you will get an extra 600 CRS score. This extra score increases your chance of getting an ITA to apply for a Canada PR.
Looking at the current Canada immigration trends and the past month draws of BC PNP we can only expect the selection of applicants to go up. Also, the CRS score may either remain the same or might slip 2-3 points this month. Thus, 1st BC PNP draw of Sep selects 428 applicants which only hints at a good start for the month.
