On Jan 12, 1st BC PNP Tech Pilot of 2021 selects 80 applicants. To qualify in this draw, the applicants needed a minimum CRS score of 80 or more. Also, applicants were selected under the following sub-streams:
Skills Immigration (S.I)
Express Entry BC (EEBC)
This is the first tech pilot draw of 2021. And it is off to a good start. Because the 1st draw of 2020 on Jan 14 issued 70 ITAs. Thus, the current draw is set on a higher note. So, we can only expect the number of Invitation to Apply (ITA) to go up in the upcoming draws.

BC PNP Tech Pilot is British Columbia’s immigration pathway to select skilled workers. Under this program, applicants who have the right skills for the right tech job get an ITA. After getting an ITA they can apply for permanent residence in Canada. But to do so they must apply within 60 days of getting an ITA.
Further, in 2020 BC issued a total of 2,081 ITAs. And similarly, in 2021 we can expect BC to reach or surpass this number.
