2023 has been a roller coaster ride for immigrants. Express Entry (EE) System for Canada PR has been one strong contributor to the changes in Canadian immigration patterns. This is why we shall look at the 2023 Express Entry draws year end review for 2024 projections.
So, you can embrace yourself for what to expect in 2024 Express Entry (EE) draws. The following keynotes will help you understand the Express Entry 2023 draw patterns and updates:
In 2023, we see Canada issue 110,266 invites to applicants who wish to settle in Canada on a PR visa. However, the set Express Entry (EE) target for 2023 is 82,880. As a result, this means 27,386 more applicants under the EE system have an ITA for Canada PR in 2023.
Besides, this allotment is under the EE System whereas Canada has 200+ Canada PR visa programs. So, it will be interesting to see how Canada breaks its Immigration Levels Plan of selecting 465,000 applicants for permanent residency.
Moreover, looking at the EE draws the introduction of category-based and the high numbers of selections we can expect an even better 2024. This is because we can see a strong focus on selecting applicants with in-demand skills. So, if you have the right skills for the right job, you have a higher chance of getting an ITA to apply for a PR visa.
Thus, this is great news for applicants who have a lower CRS rank but a higher skill pool. In short as per the express entry draws review the 2024 projection hints at a stronger selection as per skills and job profile. And everyone must apply for Canada PR now to avoid the effect of any policy change in 2024.
