Saskatchewan held its 2nd SINP draw on Aug 14. The 2nd Aug 14 SINP draw issues 247 ITAs to applicants with a CRS score of 69 or more.

2nd Aug 14 SINP draw issues 247 ITAs to applicants from the Occupation in-demand stream. To qualify the applicants needed a minimum CRS score of 69 and had an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) report. Also, in this draw, the applicants selected were highly skilled in 1 of the 46 occupations-in demand.

If you too received an Invitation to Apply (ITA) in this draw then it means you:

  • Have applied to the International Skilled Worker category under the Occupations in-demand stream.
  • Have submitted an EOI profile.
  • Are highly skilled in 1 of the 46 occupations targetted in this draw.
  • Also, have submitted an EOI profile to SINP.
  • Further, have an EOI score of 69 or more.

The SINP is Saskatchewan’s immigration program that helps the province select highly skilled workers. The province uses the Expression of Interest (EOI) system to rank all profiles.

A profile gets an EOI score as per the Points Assessment Grid terms such as:

  • Labour Market Success
    • Education and Training
    • Skilled Work Experience
    • Language Skills
    • Age
  • Connection to Saskatchewan and Adaptability

After that, the applicant will get an EOI score. At the time of immigration draws the applicant will get an ITA if it has a minimum qualifying EOI score.

In comparison to the July 29 SINP Occupation in-demand draw the Aug 14 SINP occupations in-demand draw the CRS score and ITAs were less by 1 point. But we can expect to see a drop in CRS score and a rise in the selection of applicants in the next draw.
