Sep 19, 2023: Canada immigration update, 3200 PR applicants get ITA in new Express Entry draw. The current draw is a general draw where applicants who match the CRS cut-off of 531 have an ITA. As this is a general draw, applicants from the FSW, FST, and CEC categories have been considered for an ITA for PR visa.
Besides, the tie-breaking rule applicable to this draw is set at September 12, 2023, at 12:16:31 UTC.
Applicants who qualify in the current draw meet the Express Entry (EE) System prerequisites such as:
The EE system is the most popular gateway to get Canadian permanent residency in 6-12 months. And is the fastest way of doing so in comparison to other PR visa pathways. In addition, the candidates are mostly preferring to apply via the Express Entry + PNP pathway due to its higher chances of offering them an ITA for PR.
This is because if you have an active EE profile and have a PNP nomination then you get an extra 600 CRS points in the EE pool. As a result, your overall CRS rank goes up and so goes up your chances of getting an ITA to submit a Canada PR visa application.
In the current draw, 3200 PR applicants get ITA in the new Express Entry draw. And we should expect more people to get the same in upcoming draws. Now you too can join the same.
