33 applicants from Tourism and Hospitality Sector get Alberta PNP invitations

Alberta strikes again with a specifically targeted draw. Selecting applicants from priority occupation sectors. On April 15, 2025, 33 applicants from the Tourism and Hospitality Sector get Alberta PNP invitations.

The complete details of the Alberta AAIP Tourism and Hospitality stream draw are:

• Firstly, 33 applicants have invitations to apply for a PNP nomination.
• Secondly, the EOI score requirement is set at 73.

In addition, this is the first such draw for 2025. Also, it is a clear indication of the rise in demand for skilled workers from the tourism and hospitality sector.

So, if your job profile comes under these sectors, then you can apply to Alberta for a PNP nomination. However, to do so, you must meet the following terms:

• Firstly, we are living and working in Alberta.
• Secondly, have a valid job offer in the tourism and hospitality sector in Alberta.
  • Job offer must be for a full-time, paid, for a minimum of 1 year from your current Alberta employer.
  • Have worked for the current employer for a minimum of 6 months.
  • Your Alberta employer must be member of applicable association.
• Also, your job profile must come under 1 of the following eligible occupations:
  • 54100 – Program leaders/instructors in recreation, sport, and fitness
  • 60030 – Restaurant and food service managers
  • 60031 – Accommodation service managers
  • 62020 – Food service supervisors
  • 62200 – Chefs
  • 63200 – Cooks
  • 64300 – Maîtres d’hôtel and hosts/hostesses
  • 64301 – Bartenders
  • 64314 – Hotel front desk clerks
  • 64320 – Tour and travel guides
  • 64322 – Outdoor sport and recreational guides
  • 65200 – Food and beverage servers
  • 65201 – Food counter attendants, kitchen helpers, and related support
  • 65210 – Support occupations in accommodation, travel, and facilities set-up
  • 65310 – Light duty cleaners
  • 65311 – Specialized cleaners
  • 65312 – Janitors, caretakers, and heavy-duty cleaners
  • 65320 – Dry cleaning, laundry, and related occupations
• Besides, have a valid work permit.
• Moreover, have a minimum of a high school education. Submit the ECA report to prove the same.
• Further, apply to the Alberta Tourism and Hospitality stream.
• Finally, meet the EOI score requirement.

After getting a PNP nomination, you can apply to IRCC for a Canada PR visa. Settle in Canada in 2025, with a job and settlement plan in hand.
