The April, 09 draw is not only the 4th continuous program-specific EE draw but also 2nd draw in a month targeting applicants from the CEC stream. This stream is open to foreign workers with a min 1 year of work experience in Canada, along with other program terms.
The IRCC used the selected tiebreaker time and date as Jan 04, 2020, at 12:16:45 UTC. This means applicants with a CRS score of 464 and above, who submitted their profiles before this specific date and time, have received an ITA.
Recently, Canada issued invites to 606 Express Entry Provincial Nominee Program applicants to apply for a Canadian permanent residence.
To apply to the EE system, you must create an online profile and apply through one of 3 immigration streams such as:
After you create an online profile, your profile enters a pool of EE applicants. And then your profile is assessed and scored as per factors such as:
Canada holds immigration draws every 2 weeks. A profile with a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score equal to or higher than the qualifying score receives an ITA. As a result, this ITA will help you in applying for a Canadian permanent residence.
Besides the country is increasing its frequency of draws and is inviting a large number of people. Because Canada is all set to meet its Immigration Levels Plan 2020-2022.
Earlier, in 2019 it invited 341,000 immigrants. It is targeting to give permanent residence to 341,000 – 351,000 applicants in 2020, and 361,000 in 2020.
Therefore, the April, 09 CEC draw brings the total number of invites issued in 2020 to 26,500.
