Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP) selects French-speaking applicants from Express Entry (EE) system in its latest draw.
On April, 27, NSNP under its Labour Market Priorities stream selected French-speaking applicants from the federal Express Entry (EE) system. The selected profiles have received a Letter of Interest (LOI) to apply for nomination for permanent residence in Canada.
The latest draw is the first Canada immigration draw held by Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP) in 2020.
The labour market priorities stream is an immigration program of Nova Scotia. It helps the province in selecting skilled foreign workers from the Express Entry system. As of now, NSNP has held 10 draws since its launch in 2018.
Who can apply for a Canada PR under this draw?
If you received an LOI in this draw then it means:
In addition to this, you must have a valid EE number and meet the terms of the EE system. Your profile from the EE pool will get a ranking as per factors such as age, language skills, education, and work experience. Also, if you receive a provincial nomination then your profile receive extra 600 CRS score against your EE profile. As a result, your chance of receiving an Invite to Apply (ITA) for a Canadian permanent residence increases.
All profiles who have received an LOI in this draw now have 60 days to submit a complete application to NSNP. They must also submit supporting documents such as language test results, proof of education etc. After that, if NSNP approves their application then they can apply to IRCC for a Canada PR.
Note – NSNP is yet to share the details of the number of applicants selected and the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score for this draw.
