Prince Edward Island under its 3 PEI PNP draws selects 29 applicants who are employed in essential services such as healthcare and tucking industries. The selected applicants can now apply for nomination for permanent residence in Canada. These draws invited applicants exclusively from the Labour and EE streams of Prince Edward Island Provincial Nomine Program (PEI PNP)
Usually, PEI selects more than 100 applicants as evident from the Feb 20, 2020, draw which selected 143 applicants. But in the latest 3 draws the province has selected 5 applicants on Mar 23, 10 applicants on Apr 27, and 14 applicants on May 15.

To apply under this category you must have both a valid EE profile and an EOI profile with PEI PNP. Also, you must meet one of the terms of the EE sub-streams such as:
After that your EE profile will be assessed as Per Human Capital terms such as age, language skills, education level, and work experience. And will accordingly get a CRS ranking. Besides, if you score a nomination against your EE profile then you will get extra 600 CRS points. This increases your chance of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for a Canadian permanent residence.
Further, your EOI profile will get a ranking as per EOI system and applicants with a high score receive an invite to apply for a nomination to PEI.

This stream is for applicants who want to set up/buy and run a business in PEI. You must submit an EOI profile in this stream as well.
