Saskatchewan on May 28 issued 272 Invitation to Apply (ITA) to applicants from its ISW category under Occupations in-demand and Express Entry (EE) sub-streams. SINP PNP draw issues 252 ITA to applicants to apply for nomination for permanent residence in Canada. The selected applicants within 30 days of receiving an invite must apply for a nomination to SINP.
Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) is Saskatchewan’s immigration pathway. It helps the province select skilled workers as per their skills, experience and ability to grow its economy.
SINP PNP draw issues 252 ITA
In the May 28 draw, the province issued 125 ITA to applicants from Occupation in-demand and
127 ITA to applicants from the Express Entry stream. The minimum qualifying CRS score for both the streams was 78.
Besides to qualify in this draw the applicants from both ISW streams needed to:
Moreover, in this draw, the province has selected applicants with work experience in 44 in-demand occupations.
The last EE linked SINP draw was on March 26 for Occupation in-demand applicants. Thus, in comparison, this draw is the first SINP EE linked draw since Canada enforced its travel restrictions. This news comes as a relief to applicants looking for an entry in Canada through the EE system.
Express Entry System is one of Canada’s main immigration pathways. It manages applications from 3 economic Canada immigration streams such as:
If an applicant with an active EE profile receives a provincial nomination then they will receive an extra 600 CRS score. This increases their chance of receiving an invite to apply for a Canada PR.
Lately looking at the immigration trends two signs can be detected. One, the frequency of draws has increased and has become unpredictable as compared to earlier scheduled draws. Second, the country is doing its best to select a high number of applicants in each draw. So that they can meet their 2020 Immigration Levels Target of 341,000.
