Manitoba selected 2,460 applicants up till July 02 2020, from its 3 streams. The selected applicants qualify for a provincial nomination for permanent residence in Canada. Also, looking at the MPNP draws there has been a positive drop in the CRS score. As evident from the July, 02 CRS score of 475 for Skilled Workers in Manitoba (SWM) stream and 611 for Skilled Workers Overseas (SWO). Thus, it indicates that despite the current travel restrictions the province will select a large number of applicants.
The province has selected 2,460 applicants which though in comparison to the June 2019 performance is two times less. Because last year the province had selected 4,926 applicants up till June 26, 2019. However, the current global crisis was not in effect in 2019 thus keeping in mind all factors Manitoba is taking all the right steps to speed up its selection process. Looking at the overall performance Manitoba selected 2,460 applicants up till July 02 2020, also the province has been lowering the CRS score requirement and is allowing more applicants to pass through its immigration process. As a result, Manitoba is selecting skilled workers and entrepreneurs in this hour of need.
Besides, currently, Canada is in dire need of skilled workers to meet its growing labour market force and economic needs. Even though Canada was earlier favouring selection of applicants in its in-demand sectors such as the health sector, agriculture, and food processing sector, now the country is welcoming applicants from all streams with a few restrictions.
If you too want to receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for a provincial nomination for a Canada PR, then apply now. To do so, apply under one of the 3 streams of the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).
Besides, you must meet the terms of the stream you apply under and have a minimum qualifying CRS score.
