The Quebec govt selects skilled people under Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program. To apply applicants must apply through the Arrima portal. Further, Arrima portal is an update to Quebec’s immigration system introduced in 2018. As it offers ease in submission and processing of applications. Because earlier the province was working on a ‘first come, first serve’ paper-based system. Arrima portal now uses the Expression of Interest (EOI) system. Now, one can apply through the portal to get a Quebec Selection Certificate (CSQ). Because CSQ helps in applying for a Canada PR.
Besides, 2nd Quebec Arrima draw of 2020 selects 7 applicants. But it is unclear when Quebec will hold its next draw. Also, it is too early to forecast any future outcome.
