Besides, if you get a nomination against your EE profile then you will get an extra 600 CRS score. This increases your chance of getting an ITA.
| 2020 CEC Express Entry (EE) Draws | ||
| Date of EE draw | Number of profiles selected | Minimum CRS score |
| Aug 20 | 3,300 | 454 |
| July 23 | 3,343 | 445 |
| June 25 | 3,508 | 431 |
| June 11 | 3,559 | 437 |

| May 14 | 3,371 | 447 |
| April 30 | 3,311 | 452 |
| April 16 | 3,782 | 455 |
| April 19 | 3,294 | 464 |
| March 23 | 3,232 | 467 |
Looking at the above table, it is clear that Canada started targeting CEC stream from Mar 23 CEC EE draw. After that, the CRS is dropping and the selection of applicants is growing. But from April 30 CEC draw selection of people drops but slowly continues to rise after that. All the while the CRS score continues to fall. However, in June 25 CEC draw, the CRS score falls to 431 and only 3,508 people get an ITA. Besides, if we look at the table, the Aug 20 CEC draw and July 23 CEC draw saw an increase in CRS score and fall in the selection of applications. This may be because of the rise of popularity of this stream. As a result, more people are applying for a Canada PR through this stream.
Even though the current situation may not be alarming but in future, if the same continues then we can expect a high CRS score. Also, not to forget a fewer number of people will be coming to Canada. However, Canada’s other immigration programs are doing great. because they have less CRS score terms and more and more people are getting entry in the country. So, we can only wait to see what the next CEC draw brings.
In short apply now, if you want to live, study, work or settle in Canada. But choose the path that best suits your Canada immigration needs.
