Another weekly immigration update comes from British Columbia. The province selects 137 applicants in its latest BC PNP immigration draw.
The draws patterns remain the same with a continued focus on retaining applicants from specific in-demand profiles. This includes profiles from the tech, educators, and the healthcare sector.
Also, the following are the details of the May 24, 2022 BC PNP draw:
Skilled Worker, International Graduate including EEBC category
Skilled Worker, International Graduate including the EEBC category
Skilled Worker, International Graduate, Entry Level and Semi-Skilled including the EEBC category
However, in comparison to the last May 17, 2022 BC PNP draw, the current draw selected 46 fewer applicants. Also, the CRS score requirement is lower.
Looking at the above figures, we can expect this dip in ITAs to change in the upcoming draws. Also, the CRS scores are to fall 1 or 2 points lower or be constant.
British Columbia invites 137 applicants in new PNP draw. And we should prepare for the selection of the more. The applicants who have an ITA in this draw can now submit a complete application for a provincial nomination. Further, they can apply to IRCC for Canada PR.
Once approved they will get a Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR).
