Aug 30, 2022, British Columbia in its 5th Entrepreneur Immigration (EI) draw issued up to 10 ITAs under both its sub-streams. In 2022, up till now, this is the first time that BC is issuing a draw where applicants from both EI Regional Pilot and EI Base Category have been invited. Whereas earlier the province was just inviting applicants from the EI Regional Pilot sub-stream.

EI Base Category
Besides, the applicants who qualify in this draw can now submit a complete PNP nomination application with all the supporting documents. BC will then process their application and offer a provincial nomination certificate to succeeding applicants. After that, the applicant can apply to IRCC for settling in Canada permanently via a Canada PR visa.
Looking at the 2022 BC PNP draw graph for the EI category we see certain changes. The following graph shares the updates in the draws graph up till now:

Before Aug 30, 2022 draw, all draws are targeting applicants from the EI Regional Pilot sub-stream. Besides, we can see the cut-off for the EI Regional Pilot draws changing by up to 10 points difference. However, with the inclusion of the Base Category draws we may see a bit of stability in the Regional Pilot draws.
So, for future reference, we will just have to wait for the upcoming draws. But the draws are happening once a month. Whereas in 2021, the draws were happening once in 2 months. And we can hope that BC does not choose to follow the same pattern.
