New Brunswick and the Canadian federal government under the NB PNP launches New Brunswick Critical Worker Pilot Program on Nov 07 2022. The NBCWP is a 5 years pilot program. And aims to help international skilled workers who want to settle permanently in the province. This program will help NB to grow its economy and meet labour market needs. Also, the newcomers can settle hassle-free in Canada. To do the same, NBCWP is offering skills and language training.
The province makes such a move to meet its rising critical labour shortage. Thus, NB and the government decided to not let lower language skills be a problem for foreign workers to get a Canada Work Permit.
As a result, the province is taking it upon itself to give skills and language training to applicants who arrive and commit to working in the province. Through the new program, the province will offer Canada work permits to foreign skilled workers. And also help them get permanent residency in Canada.

To accomplish the new aim NBCWP will work with 6 selected Canadian employers. They have been screened and selected as per their past successful performance under the New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBNP). They have already proved their mettle by displaying the best recruitment and settlement practices in the past.
