Saskatchewan on Nov 08, 2022 issued the lowest number of ITAs up till now in 2022. The current draw saw a drastic fall in Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to qualifying candidates. SINP issues lowest number of ITAs in Nov 08 2022 draw. The details of the consecutive draws resulting in such a low figure of the day are as the following:
SINP Draw 1
Express Entry – 10 applicants have an ITA. Also, the draw cut-off is 69.
Occupations in Demand – 21 applicants have an ITA. And the draw cut-off is 69.
SINP Draw 2
The second consecutive draw targeted applicants from Ukraine. This is a special measure draw which helps in relocating people from war-conflicted Ukraine to Canada. To qualify for this draw, the applicant must be a legal citizen of Ukraine.
SINP issued 4 invites under the special immigration draw. Also, to qualify the applicants needed to match or exceed the cut-off of 64.
Overall, on Nov 08, 2022, Saskatchewan selected a total of 35 applicants. This is the lowest figure recorded for SINP draws on a single day. With Mar 04, 2022, SINP draw being the second lowest issuing 36 ITAs under the Express Entry and Occupations in Demand sub-streams.
However, we also see a major reduction in the occupations targeted in the current SINP draw. Because up till the last Sep 28, 2022, SINP draw, Saskatchewan was targeting applicants from 69 occupations. Whereas in the current draw, the province has targeted applicants from 6 occupations such as:

Recently, in Canada, the Healthcare and Social Assistance Sector job vacancy reached 152,000. This is a new high for this sector, whereas nationally the job vacancies are climbing beyond 1.2 million. The current draw shows the province’s requirements in the healthcare sector. So, we should expect some addition of job profiles in the healthcare and social assistance sector. Whereas earlier draws targeted 69 occupations from different occupational sectors. But this time the province is focusing on the health care and social assistance sector. And we must prepare ourselves for future draws focusing on the same.
