Alberta recently shared the details of the last AAIP draw it held in 2022. After a long gap of 4 months, the province finally conducted the much-anticipated AAIP draw. However, to everyone’s surprise, there are strong positive changes in the latest Dec 08, 2022, AAIP draw.
The last draw of 2022 selected 129 qualifying applicants with a qualifying CRS score requirement of 305. The reason why this draw is special because in comparison to the last July 29, 2022, AAIP draw, the current draw:
| Alberta AAIP Express Entry sub-stream draws 2022 |
||
| Date | NOIs Issued | CRS Score Requirement |
| 08-12-2022 | 129 | 305 |
| 29-07-2022 | 120 | 473 |
| 16-06-2022 | 150 | 306 |
| 19-05-2022 | 100 | 382 |
| 14-04-2022 | 250 | 356 |
| 22-03-2022 | 350 | 325 |
| 08-03-2022 | 350 | 318 |
| 01-02-2022 | 400 | 340 |
| 18-01-2022 | 350 | 346 |
| 05-01-2022 | 250 | 327 |
Thus, as Alberta AAIP draw issues 129 NOIs after 4 months gap, we can rejoice at the positive outcome that is being created from this draw. Because looking at such a drastic fall in the CRS score we can surely expect the AAIP draw of 2023, to not raise the CRS score requirement so drastically. In addition, owing to the history of AAIP draws, we should also expect a stronger rise in the NOIS issued.
The current draw is issued under the AAIP Express Entry sub-stream. This sub-stream is an enhanced PNP stream and is connected with Canada’s infamous Express Entry (EE) System. If you wish to get a Notification of Interest (NOI) then you must meet the terms such as:
Once you get an NOI, you can apply for a PNP nomination. And the moment you get a provincial nomination against your EE profile you will get an extra 600 CRS score in the EE pool.
As a result, your chances of getting an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency in Canada go up immediately.
