IRCC on Oct 10, 2023, shared its yet another strong approach to offering permanent residency on humanitarian and compassionate grounds. Where 11000 migrants to be invited in new Canada Humanitarian PR Pathway.
The new PR pathway will invite 11,000 PR seekers from Haiti, Colombia, and Venezuela. As per the same applicants from these areas will be able to claim permanent residency in Canada if they have family connections in Canada. However, the main applicant must be 1 of the following in relation to the relative(s) in Canada:
In addition, the main applicant’s relation(s) must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
Besides, IRCC is yet to release complete details of the new program. And it will be interesting to see the process and timelines for the same. However, owing to the past such pathways, we are sure that IRCC will offer pre-arrival services to migrants. This includes the following:
11000 migrants to be invited in new Canada Humanitarian PR Pathway. And such news from Canada is not surprising. Over the years, Canada has been one of the top countries to open its doors to migrants on such grounds. We can see a similar approach to the Americas at the beginning of 2023.
Where Canada is all set to select 15,000 migrants. And also help them offer a pathway towards economic development. Besides, the same will occur under the Humanitarian and Economic pathways, and also some temporary work programs.
So, why will anyone not choose to Study, Work and or Settle in Canada? With such efforts, Canada ranks 2nd best country in the world.
