The Express Entry (EE) System, manages Canada PR visa applicants. And helps candidates get Canada PR visa approval between 6 to 12 months. Besides, everyone is aware that Canada is facing a huge shortage of skilled workers. As a result, in 2023, we see the introduction of EE Category-based draws.
This move is to make sure applicants with the right skills get an ITA. In comparison to earlier draw types, people compete based on their CRS rank in the EE pool. The category-based draw is the 6th addition to the EE draw types under which applicants can get an invitation to apply for permanent residency.
Also, the current Jan 31, 2024, EE draw selected applicants from the General draw type. So, this means whether you apply from the FSW, FST, or CEC category you will get an ITA if you match or exceed the CRS cut-off.
