Breaking News: Manitoba held its latest MPNP Special Immigration Measure draw for Ukrainians on April 30, 2024. With the latest draw, Manitoba has created a new record. Yes, Manitoba selects 491 Ukrainians the highest ever number for PNP nomination.
However, as the Canadian government’s initiative CUAET ended on March 31, 2024, Manitoba too held its last MPNP draw Ukraine on April 30, 2024.
The details of the April 30, 2024, MPNP Ukraine draw are:
Besides, Manitoba up till now has held 25 MPNP Ukraine draws. This initiative was taken under the Canadian government’s decision to aid war-struck Ukrainians to move to Canada. Until now, 1624 applicants have a Letter of Advice to Apply (LAA) for a PNP nomination.
Whoever receives this invitation, can apply for nomination. MPNP then process the application and if satisfactory gives a PNP nomination. Further, applicants can apply to IRCC for a Canada PR visa.
491 applicants have an invitation in the new MPNP draw. Yet this is the last draw for Ukrainians. So, it will be interesting to see if Canada will take new measures to support Ukraine.
But looking at the current situation we must not expect a quick remedy. However, MPNP may continue holding its regular MPNP draw.
