Manitoba holds another MPNP draw. However, in the July 04, 2024, draw, the province targeted two instead of three MPNP categories. Also, 126 MPNP applicants get PNP invites in new draw.
The complete July 04, 2024, MPNP draw details are:
International Education Stream (IES)
Skilled Workers Overseas (SWO)
Under this category, MPNP applicants are selected directly under the Strategic Recruitment Initiative.
As we see Manitoba under MPNP select applicants from 2 categories, we can see a drop in LAAs as well. However, June 25, 2024, MPNP draw issued 250 LAAs for SWO applicants.
Moving forward, from 126 PNP invites, 19 applicants have PNP invites separately because they meet the following terms:
The 19 MPNP applicants meet the above terms. This is why they have PNP invites in the new draw. Also, they have an added advantage when compared to other non-express entry profile holders.
Because, if they get a PNP nomination against their EE profile, then they will get an extra 600 CRS score. This raises their chances of getting selected for a Canada PR visa from the EE pool.
