The following are the complete details of the June 13, 2024, SkillSelect selection round:

  • Firstly, 5,292 PR applicants have invitations.
  • Secondly, applicants from the Australia Skilled Independent Visa subclass 189 category have been selected.
  • Secondly, the tie-breaker date and year applicable for this round of invitations is 05/2024.

 

Besides, Australia is inviting applicants for permanent residency under the Skilled Independent Visa Subclass 189 category after a gap of 5 months.

 

In comparison, to the Dec 2023, Skill Select round of invitations for Skilled Independent Visa Subclass 189, we can see the following changes in the June 13, 2024, SkillSelect round:

    • Cambridge C1 Advanced Test: Minimum 169 in all 4 modules.
    • Also, language tests can not be more than 3 years old at the time of documentation submission.
  • Your occupation must also be on the eligible skilled occupations list.
  • Further, Meet health and character requirements.
  • Finally, do not have any past visa refusal or rejection.
