Canada comes with another IRCC update. The country will no longer issue 10-year visitor visas. So, in such a case, what factors will determine if you will get single or multiple entry Canada Visitor Visa?
This blogpost aims to delve into the mechanisms that shall play a key role in you either getting a single entry or multiple entry Canada visitor visa.
But who needs a visitor vis? A visitor visa is a temporary resident visa (TRV). And allows the holder to enter Canada temporarily. Here, one has to keep in mind that some countries require a TRV, whereas some do not. Also, there are some countries whose nationals require an electronic travel authorisation (eTA) to enter Canada.
So, as per your citizenship, you will have to apply for a visitor visa accordingly. Please note, that TRV refers to visa types that allow visa holders to temporarily stay in Canada. This umbrella term encompasses the study, work, tourist, and visitor visas in lieu of the purpose of the visit of the applicant.
However, US green card holders and citizens do not require a visitor visa to enter Canada.
