Fantastic news is here for Canada visa aspirants. As IRCC backlog further falls from 100,6500 on Nov 30, 2024, to 942,300. Thus, the Canada Immigration Backlog Drops 6.38% by Dec 31 2024.
For the first time, we are seeing a consecutive drop in the Canada immigration application backlog. As a result, the remaining applications to be processed have come below 1 million. Besides, this dip is iconic as we are seeing such a strong fall since June 2024.
We can get a clear idea of the IRCC inventory backlog from the table below:

The immigration levels plan 2025 aims to select 673,650 temporary residents and 395,000 permanent residents. The Oct 24, 2024, plan invited criticism due to lower targets.
However, the positive impact is the reduction in the immigration backlog. As a result, the current time is the best time to get a fast visa approval. Take our Free Assessment or Contact Us.
