The Australian Immigration Department notifies regarding the Increase of the Visa application lodgment fees. The increase might be up to 5.4%. Furthermore, the hike is generally for almost all the applications excluding SC600 Visitors Visas.

On the contrary, the Applicants for contributory parent visas, there will be no hike to the Second Visa Application Charge. Currently, the Second visa Application charge is $43,600 per person.
Later this month, the government released The April Skill Select invitation. Moreover, the information regarding the Invitation round is quite surprising.
As per the release, the latest invitation was sent to 100 subclasses 189 applicants. Along with standard 10 Subclass 489 family sponsored applicants.
Despite the dip in the invitations to Skilled Migrant Invitation, The Invitations for the family-sponsored visa was constant i.e 10 invitations per month. However, the Wait times have crept up to around 5 months from the lodgment of an EOI.
To sum up, with federal elections around the corner, Invitations has dipped significantly, as the government is managing the numbers of visas granted.
