The provincial government of British Columbia invites 64 candidates in latest BC PNP tech pilot program. To point out, 90 was the minimum score mandatory in all British Columbia Immigration categories. Further, Invitations were only sent to candidates who were registered under BC PNP, EEBC and Skills Immigration streams.
Surprisingly, there was a major change in the requirement of a job offer. Now only a one-year full-time job offer is necessary. The only condition is the presence of the job offer in BC PNP tech pilot specified occupations.
Furthermore, an additional 600 Express Entry Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points are awarded to Skilled workers and International Graduates who are invited under the BC PNP towards their express entry profile. Therefore, providing them an advantage in obtaining an Invitation to Apply for Canadian permanent residence.

To conclude, the main advantage of applying under the BC PNP tech pilot is the duration of a job offer. To clarify, 365 days is the minimum duration of the job offer for BC PNP tech pilot.
