The Express Entry system follows a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). It is a point-based system that helps you to check if your profile is eligible for Canada Immigration. However, with the help of these points, IRCC issues an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for a Canada PR visa.

To qualify for Express Entry, you need to get a minimum CRS score of 67 points out of 100.
Canada selects high scoring profiles from its regular draws. And these draws have profiles from all 3 streams under the EE System. There is a minimum of 6 months for processing EE profiles. If IRCC selects your profile, then you will receive an ITA.
Further, you must apply to Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for getting a permanent residence visa.
