Stadacona (earlier name) or present-day Quebec shared the details of its latest immigration draw. Where another May 05 2022 Quebec draw sees fall in ITAs. The draw selected only 30 applicants for permanent selection.
Prior to this, the April 07, 2022 Arrima draw saw a fall of 473 points in issuing ITAs.
Looking at the current draw, the province seems to be selecting a very lower number of people. We can see the same by comparing the April 07, 2022 Arrima draw which selected only 33 applicants with the current draw issuing 30 ITAs. This is 3 points lower than the previous draw.
The current draw issued ITAs under the Regular Skilled Worker Program (RSWP). In addition, the applicants needed to have a valid job offer from outside the territory of the Metropolitan Community of Montreal.
However, we must expect positive changes in the upcoming draws. As Canada is all set to resume Express Entry draws and is also working towards getting back to the ideal application processing timings for all Canadian visas. So, we can surely expect things to change for good.
Canada is making all efforts to reduce its majorly rising job vacancies. Because if they do not meet the current demand then the economy may go into recession. This is the reason why the immigration minister Sean Fraser has been announcing new measures, updates, and upcoming program(s) to fast-track the selection of foreign skilled workers for permanent residency in Canada.
