British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) issued an Invitation to Apply (ITA) to 158 applicants who meet the terms of BCPNP and have the minimum CRS score. Also, the CRS score for this draw was varied for each category.
To qualify you must have a CRS score of:
| BC PNP stream | Substream | CRS score required |
| Skilled Immigration (SI) | SI – Skilled Worker | 100 |
| SI – International Graduate | 103 | |
| SI – Entry Level and Semi-Skilled | 81 | |
| Express Entry British Columbia (EEBC) | Substream | CRS score required |
| EEBC – Skilled Worker | 110 | |
| EEBC – International Graduate | 110 |
Besides, in this draw, the CRS score for SI stream fell 2-3 points whereas for EEBC stream the CRS score was up by 2 points.
If you received an ITA under the EEBC category of BCPNP then it means:
In case you receive a nomination against your EE profile then you will receive an extra 600 CRS score. This increase your chance of receiving an ITA in EE draws to apply for permanent residence in Canada.
Overall the applicants must submit a complete application to BCPNP within 30 days of receiving an ITA. Failing to do so shall result in the cancellation of the invitation.
Earlier in a similar draw on May 07, B.C selected 237 applicants to apply for provincial nomination. Though their CRS score requirement was slightly higher than the May 19 draw. Looking at these two recent draws B.C is excluding 13 businesses due to the current pandemic issue. This measure is also in effect to follow the latest Canada Immigration instructions. However, it is expected that soon such measures and exclusions will not be necessary.
A positive sign in this respect is the frequency of draws that have been happening since the start of 2020. It indicates that Canada is more than ready to welcome foreign immigrants. And is working towards meeting its Immigrations Levels Plan for 2020.
