British Columbia offers PNP nomination to 125 qualifying applicants. Now you can also apply for the same. But why get a provincial nomination?
The BC PNP program helps British Columbia to get foreign workers to meet its labour market needs and grow its economy. So, if you have the skills BC needs then you can qualify to get a nomination. Firstly, to do the same you must apply to the BC PNP sub-stream you qualify for. Secondly, when BC holds its periodic draws, if you match the draw cut-off score then you can get an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for a nomination. Thirdly, after the successful processing of your application, you will get a nomination certificate.
Finally, you can further, apply to IRCC for permanent residency in Canada.
All provinces and territories except Quebec and Nunavut take part in the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). This program was launched in 1998 to ensure all provinces and territories enjoy the benefits of immigration. After that, if they get a provincial nomination they will get an extra 600 CRS score in the EE pool.
As a result, their chances of getting an ITA for Canadian permanent residency increase.
Further, the BC PNP EEBC sub-stream is such a stream. As it links to the EE system. So, to get an ITA under this stream you must have:
