June 06, 2023: British Columbia selects upto 161 candidates to apply for PNP nomination. In the 2 part draw series (Tech + Targeted draw) the province selected up to 161 applicants. And these applicants after getting an invitation can apply for a provincial nomination certificate.
The details of the BC PNP draw are as the following:
Draw 1 – Tech draw: 112 applicants have an invitation.
Draw 2 – Targeted draw: Up to 49 applicants have an invitation.
Skilled Worker, EEBC option, and International Graduate category
EEBC option, International Graduate, Skilled Worker category
International Graduate, Skilled Worker, EEBC option
Besides, to qualify in part 2 of June 06, 2023, BC PNP draw, applicants needed to have a minimum qualifying score of 60.
British Columbia selects upto 161 candidates to apply for PNP nomination. Whereas May 23, 2023, draw selected 144 applicants for nomination. This means that the current draw issued 17 more invitations to qualifying applicants.
In addition, in comparison to the May 23, 2023, BC PNP draw we can see the following updates:

So, looking at the above details we can see a positive rise in the selection of applicants for PNP nomination.
Firstly to apply to the BC PNP Express Entry BC (EEBC) category the applicants had to do the following:
Upon getting an invitation from BC for nomination you must submit a complete and error-free PNP application. BC PNP will thoroughly check your application and award you Provincial Nomination Certificate if satisfactory. After getting a PNC against your EE profile you will get an addition of 600 points in the EE pool.
As a result, your chances of getting invited for a Canada PR visa in an Express Entry draw go up. In short, getting a PNC and the addition of 600 CRS points is beneficial to get a Canada PR visa. Moreover, in the latest June 08, 2023, Express Entry Draw Canada selected 4800 applicants with a CRS cut-off requirement of 486.
