The fall in ITAs may look a bit gloomy. But to balance the same the fall in CRS cutoff is a positive sign. We can expect the CRS cutoff to go lower in upcoming draws. This means that a higher number of applicants will get selected for a Canada PR visa soon.
Looking at the Express Entry all program draws in 2023 up till now we can see the CRS cutoff was the lowest on March 29, 2023, at 481. Whereas the highest the cutoff reached was on Sep 16, 2023, at 531.
Thus, as per the same narrative, the current fall in the cutoff is a positive sign for applicants waiting for an ITA in the EE pool. And for applicants who are still contemplating taking permanent residency in Canada.
