The current Express Entry PNP draw issued fewer ITAs with a high CRS cut-off requirement. This is clear when comparing the Aug 26, 2024, EE PNP draw with the current draw. The following is an analysis based on the same:
However, looking at earlier draws including all categories, it seems that Canada is all set on clearing applicants with a high CRS rank. This means it is eliminating the competition for applicants with a lower CRS rank.
Thus, we can expect draws targeting a higher number of applicants. Also, we should expect a lower CRS cut-off to issue a larger number of PR invites. Such a practice is not common in Express Entry draw.
