If you receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) in this draw, then you can apply for nomination for permanent residence in Canada.  In case, you receive a nomination then you will receive an extra 600 CRS score against your EE profile. Thus, your chances of receiving an invite for a Canada PR increase majorly.

Express Entry (EE) system is one of Canada’s main immigration pathways. It helps the country hire and retain skilled workers. This system offers applicants permanent residence in Canada. Also, it handles applications from 3 economic immigration streams such as:

  • Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
  • Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
  • Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

In the May 14 EE draw the tie break rule date and time used was Dec 23, 2019, at 10:01:06 UTC. It means that applicants who have a CRS score of 447 or more as well as applicants with CRS 447 score, who submitted their EE profile on this date and time, was selected in this draw.

Canada is boosting the intake of immigrants by increasing the number of draws and the number of people it is inviting for permanent residence. The year 2020 is showing an upward trend in Canada immigration irrespective of the current global pandemic. Despite the measures to contain such an issue and constantly rolling out measures in the form of financial aids, Canada is giving its undivided attention to applicants who wish to live, work and settle in Canada. Also from time and again, Canada has always made it clear that Immigration is always one of the key sectors of the growth of the country and they have no plans of slowing down the same.
