The Human Resource Generalist post is open to applicants who can offer support to the HR department, and other operational departments. The candidate must possess strong interpersonal skills, have a business mindset, is an initiative takes, and can well adjust to the fast pacing and dynamic environment of the company.


Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor, improve, and enforce employee policies.
  • Promoting positive employee relations.
  • Be responsible for Talent acquisition – Sourcing, filtering potential candidates, interviewing, shortlisting, hiring and onboarding.
  • Identifying the best recruitment strategies and effectively implementing them.
  • Offering insight and support to reduce the overall attrition rate.
  • Handling and creating smooth exit strategies.
  • If required, create training programs as per the needs of the employees.
  • Have sound knowledge of provincial, territorial, and national laws in force.
  • Work towards fostering a harmonious, collaborative and positive work environment.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Apost secondary degree in the field of Human Resource 
  • Have expertise in knowledge and HR procedures.
  • Ability to train a variety of professionals and managers.
  • Must have expert and sound knowledge of the hiring process.
  • Be updated with HR policies, recruitment strategies, rules and regulations.
  • Must have string rational skills to assess and derive sound judgement on matters of concern.
  • Have impeccable oral and written communication skills.
  • Are tech-savvy and well versed with Microsoft applications – Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook, Human Resource Information System, People Soft etc.
  • Be able to monitor, assess and update the remuneration system.
  • Be able to create HR related reports and duly update the management accordingly.
