Graduate Entrepreneur Stream

  • Firstly, have 2 year’s degree/diploma from Alberta (DLI)
  • Secondly, have a valid PGWP.
  • Also, your language skill level must be CLB 7 (English/French)
  • Besides, you must either buy an Alberta business or set up a new business in Alberta.

 

Foreign Graduate Entrepreneur Stream

  • Firstly, have a minimum of 6 years of work experience as an Owner/Senior Manager or both.
  • Secondly, have a post-secondary degree from outside Canada.
  • Also, must have a business plan with revenue estimates and submit a pitch of 10 minutes.
  • Besides, have a language skill level of CLB 5 (English/French).
  • Moreover, invest a sum of:
    • CAD 500,000 (urban centre)
    • CAD 50,000 (regional area)
  • Have a Letter of Approval from an AAIP-approved designated agency.
  • Further, meet minimum settlement funds requirement as per LICO.

 

Rural Entrepreneur Stream

  • Firstly, have a minimum of 3 years of experience as owner/manager or 4 years’ experience as senior manager.
  • Secondly, have a minimum of 12th grade education.
  • Also, have a language skill level of CLB 4 (English/French)
  • Besides invest a minimum of CAD 100,000 and have a net worth of a minimum of CAD 300,000.
  • Moreover, have a community support letter from Alberta.
