Manitoba held its 164th draw where the last 2022 MPNP draw issues 280 LAAs. Also, out of the 280 LAA recipients, 21 LAA holders have an active EE profile and a Job Seeker Validation Code.
The draw details are as the following:
Skilled Workers in Manitoba (SWM)
International Education Stream (IES)
Skilled Workers Overseas (SWO)
Looking at the above details we can see positive updates. As we see a rise in the selection of applicants. Thus, making the last draw of December positive and hopeful for 2023. Even when we look at the 2022 MPNP draw trends we see a rise and fall in LAAs. However, the overall trends indicate a positive and ongoing outcome for applicants who wish to live and settle in Canada via the PNP PR pathway.
The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program or MPNP comes under the PNP. The Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) was launched in 1989 with the aim to share the benefit of immigration with Canadian provinces and territories. As a result, MPNP helps Manitoba get foreign skilled workers who can meet its labour market and economic needs. Thereby, ensuring continued economic growth and success of the province.
Anyone who has the right skills for the right job may get a provincial nomination under the MPNP. As this will further help them to apply to IRCC for permanent residency in Canada.
