Oct 26, 2023: IRCC shares new updates for Canadian employers to hire foreign workers faster. The latest updates to help faster hiring of foreign workers for Canada. Honourable Minister Randy Boissonnault shared new updates to the Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP). In addition, he shares that the latest updates will help Canadian employers fast-track the hiring of foreign workers.
This in turn will help Canada to meet its labour market needs. Such a practice is not new in the country. From time to time under the Temporary Foreign Workforce Solutions Road Map, the TFWP is modified to suit Canada’s labour force needs. Besides, the key highlights of the latest updates are:
Moreover, the minister promises that these updates will be in full force up until Aug 30, 2024. All such efforts are in place to reduce the 5.5% persistent employment rate. Such measures with adjustments will raise the selection of applicants for a Canada Visa.
The TFWP helps employers get foreign skilled workers. In turn, gives foreigners Canadian Work Permits as per which they can work and earn at a good bracket. Besides, the experience on a Canada work visa can be used to apply for a Canada PR visa.
