Manitoba holds its new MPNP draw and issues 507 LAAs to qualifying applicants. Besides, out of the 507 LAAs, 91 have been received by applicants with an active Express Entry profile and a Job Seeker Validation Score.
The details of April 20, 2023, MPNP draw is as the following:

Applicants who are working in Manitoba in a high-demand occupation have been considered. In addition, the qualifying applicants match the following MPNP draw conditions:
All Occupations
International Education Stream (IES)
Skilled Workers Overseas (SWO)
Under this MPNP category, applicants have an LAA under the MPNP Strategic Recruitment Initiative.
The MPNP program is linked to Canada’s most famous Express Entry (EE) System. The EE system was launched in Jan 2015 and since then has been successfully managing Canada PR visa applications. It is also the system that ensures that the applicants get a quick and easy Canada PR visa in no time.
And in the current draw 91 MPNP PNP applicants have an LAA as they meet the following terms:
After getting a PNP nomination from MPNP, the 91 EE profile holders will get an extra 600 CRS score against their EE profiles. This means that their chances of getting an Invitation to Apply (ITA) to submit a Canada PR visa application.
So, not only do they get a PNP nomination but their chances of getting a permanent residency visa for Canada also go up.
