The NB Skilled Worker Stream targets skilled workers who have special skills/training, education, and work experience to grow New Brunswick’s (NB) economy. This stream helps NB’s employers to hire foreign skilled workers and international graduates when no Canadian or permanent resident is available to fill their vacant job positions.

Canada requires all applicants to show proof of language skills. To do so an applicant can show language test results showing their skill level in all 4 language abilities: reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
So, to get points under this factor the applicant must have a minimum skill level of CLB/NCLC 4 in English/French.

To claim 20 points under this factor, the applicant’s work experience must be full-time, relevant work experience within 5 years before applying to NB PNP.
