On Mar 04, 2020, Express Entry draw issued 3900* ITA to qualifying applicants. This brings the total number of ITAs issued this year to 18,700. It means Canada is accepting a large number of applications to meet this year’s ITA target of 85,800.
The country issued a record-breaking 4500 ITAs to applicants with a CRS score of 470 or more. This was the largest Express Entry draw held by Canada govt on Feb 19, 2020.

The numbers in the table reflect the total number of applicants in the pool, a few days before an invitation round. The CRS score data is subject to change. As the total number changes due to the addition of new profiles and expiry of old ones.
Canada has a new approach to rank candidates with the same CRS score in the Express Entry pool.
The govt has proposed a new approach to break ties between applicants with the same rank in the pool. Now the candidates with a CRS tie will get a ranking as per the time and date they submitted their profile. The tie break rule applies to candidates with the same score as the lowest selected CRS score in the draw.
The tie break for Mar 4, 2020 draw, was Feb 24, 2020, at 06:02:57 UTC.
Every profile that an applicant creates in the EE system is time and date stamped. IRCC reserves the sole right to choose and declare the date and time of the tie break rule. This means that EE profiles with 471 set scores created on Feb 24. 2020, at 06:02:57, received an ITA by Canada govt.
