On Feb 10, 2023, New Ontario Express Entry PNP draw issues 466 NOIs under its Skilled Trades Stream. Applicants who have an invitation in this draw can now apply to OINP for a provincial nomination. Besides, to qualify in the OINP EE Skilled Trades Stream draw applicants needed to have a CRS score between 260-489.
Also, the current draw is the third such draw. And we can again see a fall of 44 points in the number of applicants selected. The same major fall was recorded in the last Ontario Express Entry PNP draw on Feb 09, 2023. Where the draw saw a fall of 742 points in NOIs.
Further, the current Feb 09, 2023, draw is a targeted draw. And targeted 41 skilled trades profiles. So, if your job profile comes in the targeted occupation and you have work experience in the same then you qualify to get an NOI for a PNP nomination.
The OINP is linked with Canada’s Express Entry (EE) System. And under the OINP Express Express (EE) Stream you can qualify for nomination under 1 of the following sub-streams:
Each OINP EE sub-stream has its eligibility terms you must match. So, if you wish to apply and qualify under the Skilled Trades Stream then you must:
In today’s applying for permanent residency via the Express Entry PNP pathway is one of the most popular ways to do so. This is because when you get a provincial nomination certificate against your valid and active EE profile, you get an addition of 600 CRS points in the EE pool, This addition, increases your overall CRS rank. IRCC holds periodic Express Entry draws. Where it selects applicants who match the draw cut-off or have a higher CRS score.
So, with the help of a nomination, you are able to get a higher CRS rank in the pool. This increases your chances of getting an ITA to submit a Canada PR visa application to IRCC. This is the reason why everyone in today’s time is opting to go via this route.
If you wish to reap the benefits of such a lucrative pathway then apply now. Start by taking our Free Assessment. By doing so you will get to know if you qualify for this pathway. In addition, we also let you know that as per your case which Canadian permanent residency pathway do you qualify for?
