Important Notification regarding Changes in Visa Application centers Service Fees and Issuance of Invitation of Skilled Migrant Category Resident Visa
The New Zealand Government has issued a notification on April 15th, 2019. The notification is regarding the Service Fee changes at Visa Application Centers (VAC). Meanwhile, The List of countries also includes India.
The Visa Application Centers in India are in New Delhi, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Cochin, and Hyderabad.
As per the Notification, the changes will bring w.e.f 1st May 2019.
Another notification was regarding the Skilled Migrant Visa Invitation.
To elaborate, the Notification focusses on sending the invitation to people for Skilled Migrant Category Resident Visa. Another key point is that the government conducts Selection every 2 weeks i.e. every Fortnight.
As per the notification, 626 out of 1,386 candidates were chosen. The chosen candidates will have to undergo a preliminary verification to determine if they are eligible for residence invitation.
To elaborate on the notification, the candidates interested should first send an EOI (Expression of Interest).
If the government finds the EOI Contributing to New Zealand’s economic growth, the government will invite the candidate to apply to live and work in New Zealand indefinitely. To point out, the government only selects EOIs with 160 points or above.
To clarify, the visa is not applicable to candidates who are into self-employment. If a candidate wants to work in business, he should apply for Entrepreneur Residence Visa.
