As per the latest news coming in Quebec invites 306 applicants in fourth Arrima draw. And to qualify in this draw the applicants had to meet the following qualifying terms:
Besides, the applicants who have an invite in this draw have been selected under the Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program (QSWP). Also, the current draw is the 4th draw of 2022. And as of now, the French-speaking province has issued 1,663 invites up till now.
In 2021, the province selected a total number of 3,554 applicants.
The Francophone province of Canada has its own immigration system. Whereas the rest of Canada follows a separate system altogether. However, Quebec can nominate qualifying skilled workers but the final decision on the visa application rests with IRCC.
So, if you wish to live, settle, and or work in Quebec then you will have to apply to its Arrima portal. The portal is an online application platform where you can submit your profile. As per the Expression of Interest (EOI) system, your profile will be assessed on factors such as age, education, work experience, language skills, adaptability etc.
After that, you will get an invite if your EOI score matches the draw cut-off. But you must submit a complete application for permanent selection within 60 days of getting an invite.
If your application is processed successfully, you will get a Quebec Selection Certificate (CSQ). This certificate will help you to apply to IRCC for permanent residency in Canada.
Further, the province is all set to invite 49,500 to 52,500 applicants in 2020. Also, the province will be selecting an additional 18,000 applicants to meet its 2020 target.
