Besides, the current draw is also the biggest Arrima draw of Quebec. Because the current draw selected 1202 applicants. Whereas the second highest draw figures have been registered in Arrima draw on Feb 10, 2022 (523 ITAs). In addition, to sharing the qualifying points for clearing the draw, Quebec also shared the point system by which the applicants get a score.
As per the system, you can claim a total of 1320 points.
Also, as of now, Quebec has selected 3,839 applicants for permanent selection. After getting an invitation the applicants must apply for permanent selection. Once their application is processed, they will get Quebec Selection Certificate (CSQ).
Quebec has its immigration system which is separate from the rest of Canada. It has its sub-streams, and selection terms and uses the Arrima portal for the selection of applicants. The province holds periodic draws to offer permanent selection to qualifying applicants. This is to meet the labour market and economic needs of the province.
However, IRCC reserves the power to take decisions on visa applications. Thus, all qualifying applicants with a CSQ must apply to IRCC for permanent residence in Canada.
