Saskatchewan holds Entrepreneur Immigration Stream draw on Mar.05.2020

On Thursday, Mar 05, 2020, Saskatchewan is all set to hold its second draw of the season. The first draw on Jan 07, 2020, and Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) issued 42 invitations to successful applicants.

Jan 07 draw issued 42 invitations to profiles with an average score of 120 points in the EOI system. The Expression of Interest (EOI) highest score was 145 with the lowest reaching 115 points. SINP also issued an invitation to apply (ITA) to profiles with 115 EOI scores. To qualify these applicants needed a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) Level 4 or higher.

Saskatchewan as per its new changes in December 2019, now looks at 3 factors to select potential applicants. These factors help SINP in selecting the best profiles from a pool of candidates with the same score.

The 3 most important factors are:

  • Language Skill Level
  • Applicants with a business plan in a key economic sector in Saskatchewan.
  • If you complete an exploratory visit.

Canada immigration is at an all-time high. Did you apply for SINP Entrepreneur program?

Canada is all set to welcome 1 million new foreign immigrants to Canada in 2020-22. It realizes how important immigrants are for the constant growth of the economy. And with low size and growing ageing population, the country’s future depends on immigration. Marco Mendicino (Minister of Immigration) is all set to table Canada’s 2020-2022 Immigration Levels Plan in March. Thus, in his recent ‘vision’ speech he shared the same views and concerns.

Saskatchewan’s Entrepreneur Program is a part of the Business stream of SINP. You can apply to the business stream through its 4 categories:

  • Entrepreneur
  • International Graduate Entrepreneur
  • Farm Owners/Operators
  • Young Farmers

Entrepreneur Program

You can apply to this stream if you want to set up/buy a business in Saskatchewan. This stream looks for skilled entrepreneurs who have the skills and resources to grow the province’s economy.

To apply to the SINP Entrepreneur Program, you must follow these 3 easy steps:
