Canada’s Prince Edward Island for the first time changed its draw patterns by holding two consecutive draws and selecting 188 applicants. It is a known factor that the island always conducts 1 scheduled draw a month for PEI Labour and Express Entry category and the PEI Business Work Permit Entrepreneur category together. But has never conducted a separate draw for a particular PEI category.
This is the first time the province conducted consecutive draws, one on Nov 03, 2022, for PEI Express Entry and Labour Market category. And the second draw on Nov 17, 2022, included both the PEI Labour and Express Entry category and Labour Market category and the PEI Business Work Permit Entrepreneur Category.
The Island issues 189 invites to candidates under PEI PNP draws. Also, the details of the 2 draws are as the following:

Looking at the past PEI PNP draw patterns we can see the new move by PEI PNP as favourable to Canada enthusiasts. Because in 2022, the island has offered ITA for provincial nomination to 1652 applicants. Whereas out of the same the 1534 applicants from the Labour and Express Entry category have an ITA. And PEI PNP has selected 118 applicants from the Business Work Permit Entrepreneur category.
