{"id":7336,"date":"2025-05-07T09:37:28","date_gmt":"2025-05-07T09:37:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/webtechnomind.in\/work\/global-vision-Immigration\/?page_id=7336"},"modified":"2025-05-07T09:39:09","modified_gmt":"2025-05-07T09:39:09","slug":"the-new-zealand-citizen-family-relationship-temporary-visa","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/webtechnomind.in\/work\/global-vision-Immigration\/the-new-zealand-citizen-family-relationship-temporary-visa\/","title":{"rendered":"The New Zealand Citizen Family Relationship (Temporary) visa"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The New Zealand Citizen Family Relationship (Temporary) visa (subclass 461)<\/strong>\u00a0allows someone who is not a New Zealand citizen to live in Australia with a family member who:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Is a New Zealand citizen<\/li>\n<li>Either holds a\u00a0<a href=\"#\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Special Category visa (subclass 444)<\/a>\u00a0and is living in Australia, or is eligible to hold a<a href=\"#\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u00a0Special Category visa (subclass 444)<\/a>\u00a0and is accompanying them to Australia.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The individual can be in or outside Australia when they apply for this visa.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligibility:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>An individual might be able to get this visa if:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>They are not a New Zealand citizen<\/li>\n<li>They are a member of the\u00a0family unit\u00a0of a New Zealand citizen<\/li>\n<li>Their New Zealand citizen family member is living in Australia on a<a href=\"#\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u00a0Special Category visa (subclass 444)\u00a0<\/a>or will be travelling with them to Australia and will be granted a\u00a0<a href=\"#\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Special Category visa (subclass 444)\u00a0<\/a>on arrival.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The individual must be related to the New Zealand citizen as one of the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Their partner<\/li>\n<li>Their child\/step-child or their partner\u2019s child\/step-child<\/li>\n<li>The dependent child of theirs or their partner\u2019s child\/step-child.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The visa application charges are listed in\u00a0<a href=\"#\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Fees and Charges<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Including family members in the application:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>An individual can include their child\/step-child or their partner\u2019s child\/step-child\u00a0in their visa application at the time of lodgement.<\/p>\n<p>These family members will need to provide evidence that they are members of the family unit of the New Zealand citizen.
