This pathway helps Alberta police services attract experienced law enforcement professionals from around the world, offering a streamlined process to Canadian permanent residence.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Who Can Apply for the Alberta Law Enforcement Pathway?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This pathway is for internationally recruited police officers who:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Are identified by the <strong>Alberta Association of Chiefs of Police (AACP)<\/strong> as international recruits.<\/li>\n<li>Have a valid, verifiable job offer from an Alberta police service (AACP member).<\/li>\n<li>Meet all Alberta Express Entry Stream minimum requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Alberta Law Enforcement Pathway: Eligibility Criteria<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><strong> Express Entry Profile<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Applicants must have an active profile in the federal Express Entry pool.<\/li>\n<li>Must meet the criteria of at least one of the federal immigration programs managed by Express Entry (Federal Skilled Worker, Federal Skilled Trades, or Canadian Experience Class).<\/li>\n<li>Minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 300.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\" start=\"2\">\n<li><strong> Occupation Requirements<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>The primary occupation in the Express Entry profile must match the current Alberta employment or job offer.<\/li>\n<li>Applicants must be identified by the Alberta Association of Chiefs of Police (AACP) and must have a valid job offer from an Alberta police service that is an AACP member.<\/li>\n<li>The job offer must be in one of the following eligible National Occupational Classification (NOC) codes:\n<ul>\n<li>40040: Commissioned (management) police officers and related occupations in public protection services<\/li>\n<li>41310: Police investigators and other investigative occupations<\/li>\n<li>42100: Police officers (except commissioned)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\" start=\"3\">\n<li><strong> Job Offer Requirements<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>The job offer must be valid, verifiable, and from an Alberta police service with a valid AACP membership.<\/li>\n<li>The occupation listed in the job offer must match one of the eligible NOC codes above.<\/li>\n<li>AAIP will verify the job offer and may request additional information to confirm eligibility.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\" start=\"4\">\n<li><strong> Intent to Reside<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Applicants must intend to live and work permanently in Alberta and must have expressed this interest in their Express Entry profile.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\" start=\"5\">\n<li><strong> Other Minimum Assessment Requirements<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Applicants and Alberta employers (if applicable) must meet all Alberta Job Offer and Employment Requirements if invited based on a job offer.<\/li>\n<li>Applicants must not be:\n<ul>\n<li>Listed on the Alberta Opportunity Stream Ineligible Occupations list<\/li>\n<li>Refugee claimants or subject to the federal appeal or removal process<\/li>\n<li>Holders of an active nomination under any AAIP stream<\/li>\n<li>Ineligible to reapply to AAIP due to misrepresentation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Planning to successfully settle in Canada as a law enforcement professional?
